NOTES
This 5 star James Halliday winery is situated in Frankland River, some 360kms south of Perth in Western Australia, and was established in 1998 by Ferngrove founder Murray Burton. Murray's faith in this unique vineyard region was well founded. Thanks to its location 90kms from the coast, between the cooling influence of the converging Southern and Indian oceans, the region has a cool climate that allows grapes to ripen with remarkable consistency from year to year. Delivering fruit and thus wine with characteristic delicacy and clear varietal character.
Ferngrove has established a reputation as a premium wine producer in the Frankland River region, and the winery is fast becoming recognised for its production of outstanding, cool climate wines from estate-grown fruit.

TASTING NOTES
Blend: 85.7% Sauvignon Blanc; 14.3% Semillon
Pale green in colour...leads to a bouquet which is compelling with lively aromas of tropical passionfruit, gooseberry and lime zest. The palate is intense and fresh with tropical notes of passionfruit, mango, paw paw and zesty citrus with clean acidity and a textured finish.
