TASTING NOTES

The colour in 2008 is a vibrant raspberry; the wine has aromas of ripe raspberries, blackberries, with spice notes. The palate has lovely full raspberry fruit with great tannin structure typical of Yarra Valley Pinot Noir. It has a long finish and persistent flavour.

OTHER REVIEWS

Bright, but light, colour; a big brother to the Rose, with marked texture and structure to the plum, spice and briar flavours of the long palate. Priced low in a tough market. Screwcap.14% alc. Rating 92, James Halliday Australian Wine Companion 2010

A Good quality, wellpriced pinot noir is a rarity, so go for this...to be enjoyed now,but it will develop nicely for up to five years. Jane Faulkner THE AGE 30 Hours eat, drink, cook, April 2009

..this is all about flavour. Spicy nose and aftertaste. Campbell Mattinson THE WINE FRONT, March 2009
