The flavour and elegance of the 2004 Gulf Station Chardonnay is attributed to cool climate Yarra Valley fruit and subtle use of oak. Winemaking included both barrel and tank fermentation with frequent lees stirring to increase complexity, texture and balance. The wine is made for both immediate consumption as well as medium term cellaring. (2-4 years)
