NOTES
Bellarmine Wines produces a range of individual wines made from grapes grown on its picturesque estate in the cool climate region of Pemberton, Western Australia. The vineyard was planted in 2000 and is owned by German doctor, Dr Willi Schumacher and his wife Gudrun Schumacher. The Schumachers are passionate about great wine and searched the world for a place to plant vines before they chose what has become the Bellarmine property.
TASTING NOTES
Showing a developed golden colour for its age, the wine displays ripe apple, nectarine and peach flavours with some slightly spiced oak and tight acidity giving the wine a clean, crisp finish.
2007 REVIEW
Has the elegance which is the mark of all Bellarmine wines, with beautifully focused nectarine fruit supported by a gossamer web of French oak. Screwcap.14% alc. 94 Points James Halliday
