NOTES
Salitage is a premium fine wine producer located in the beautiful and spectacular viticultural region of Pemberton, in the south west of Western Australia. James Halliday described Salitage as: "the most important winery in the Pemberton region. Salitage is the showpiece of Pemberton. If it had failed to live up to expectations it is a fair bet the same fate would have befallen the whole Pemberton region."
TASTING NOTES
A range of tropical fruit aromas, gooseberry, passionfruit with subtle herbal undertones and flinty notes. The palate is fruit driven, nicely weighted, shows mineral accents, soft acidity and a long flavoursome finish.
REVIEWS
A wine with above average depth to the ripe/tropical fruit flavours offset and cleansed by minerally acidity on the dry finish. Screwcap.13% alc. Rating 91, James Halliday, Australian Wine Companion 2010
