NOTES
Fonty’s Pool Wines was first established in 1989 and covers 70 hectares. Pemberton is the coolest wine region in Western Australia, principally due to its elevation above sea level and its close proximity to Great Southern and Indian Oceans. This is the key factor which differentiates Pemberton from other Western Australian wine regions, giving the dual benefits of true vine dormancy and a long ripening period. This region also receives one of the purest water supplies in the world.
TASTING NOTES
Fonty’s Pool classic cool climate Chardonnay that saturates the palate with citrus juiciness, hints of stone-fruit and discrete mineral elements. There is textural softness, with refined oak influence and an overall charm and elegance. Fresh, racy and opulent. The brightness of fruit and elegant profile of this wine perfectly pairs with white fish, both delicate, lighter textured fish and more robust flavoured fish. It also has the strength of flavour to match most chicken based dishes.
