TASTING NOTES
Bright medium straw with attractive green tints, fresh cut peaches with a trace of almond, this attractive fruit dominant nose shows a touch of yeastiness and fine oak. Fine stone fruit flavours with a long and persistent palate that finishes cleanly with a tight, but soft, acidity. Though wonderful on its own, this wine makes an excellent accompaniment to chicken, seafood and light red meat dishes. Try it with a cappuccino of beef. This full flavoured wine will gain dimension in its first two years and the soft acidity will see it mature over the next four to six years.
REVIEWS
Still very pale in colour a year after bottling; early picking of flavour-ripe fruit has resulted in an elegant and tight wine with white peach and citrus flavours, French oak in the background. Screwcap. 13% alc. Rating 93 Drink 2018 James Halliday, Australian Wine Companion 2011
