Poole’s Rock Wines was founded in 1988 at Broke in the Hunter Valley. The Poole’s Rock is the flagship label and represents the prestige varietal tier of our portfolio.
This is the second release of the Poole’s Rock Hunter Valley Semillon, a wine from our mature estate vineyards destined to become a Hunter Valley icon.
TASTING NOTES
Pale straw to lime in colour the wine exhibits classic lemon, lime and dried straw aromas combined with a hint of buttered toast. The palate is tightly structured with green pineapple and honeydew melon flavours with a refreshing crisp and mineral finish
REVIEWS
A pure-bred semillon with tremendous thrust and drive through the long palate and lingering aftertaste; the focus is enhanced by the touch of minerality that accompanies the lemon citrus fruit. Screwcap. 10.9% alc.
