TASTING NOTES
Pale straw to lime in colour, this chardonnay has tropical fruit aromas of kiwi fruit and fig with a hint of lime zest. The palate is rich and creamy, showing refined melon and peach flavours leading to a soft mineral finish.
The 2008 Cockfighter's Ghost Premium Reserve Chardonnay will continue to age gracefully for up to six years if cellared in optimum conditions. This is an ideal accompaniment to lobster, crab, spatchcock, corn-fed chicken or even pork with fennel and garlic.
REVIEWS
Bright straw-green; the bouquet is complex, reflecting full barrel ferment characters and nine months in oak; the palate is tight and zesty, belying the alcohol. Screwcap.14.4% alc.
