Jed Wine Merchants is a boutique wine wholesale/distribution company focused exclusively on premium wine of Argentina for the Australian and Asian markets. We are a young and dynamic company managed by three Australian Oenologists.
Each winemaker is heavily involved in sourcing wine from the best Argentine producers and personally representing these brands.
Our philosophy is simple: fewer principal brands in our portfolio in order to maintain an intimate understanding of the wines and brands we represent, and fewer buying groups to develop strong, long-term relationships.
TASTING NOTES
The Nose: Complex aromas of cassis, fresh mint and mixed spices.
The Palate: Robust red berry flavours on the front palate lead to complex layers of mixed spices and subtle mint. Lightly toasted oak and underlying spice notes seamlessly combine with the rich fruit flavours. The finish features fine ripe tannins with good balance and generous fruit weight.
