We selected fruit from our Sharktooth and Malpa’s vineyards for the 2003 Shiraz. The wine is black/purple in colour, the nose displays subtle vanilla/cedar oak, chocolate, spice and Satsuma plum. This powerful Shiraz shows distinctive regional characters of dark chocolate, black plums, pepper, licorice and spicy cedary oak on the palate, with rich ripe fruit and oak integrated perfectly. This well structured wine is approachable now, however has the concentration, tannin and acid to guarantee longevity. Approachable now or cellar for up to 10 years under the right conditions. Enjoy the experience with a juicy rump, carpet bag steak or all barbecued meats.
