2005 National Wine Show Canberra Class 25 Gold Medal Fruit from our low cropping Malpas Road block was selected for this outstanding Cabernet Sauvignon. Displaying an aroma of ripe blackcurrant, mint and violets. The palate exhibits intense blackberry and briary flavours which are enhanced by firm tannins and perfectly integrated French and American oak maturation. An elegant beautifully balanced wine, with a long lingering finish. Approachable now or cellar for up to 10 years under the right conditions. Enjoy with venison, veal, lamb or yearling beef.
