McLaren Vale is an area renowned for its climate, lifestyle and red wine. Select parcels of grapes from our family vineyard in the “Vale” are the foundation of Shingleback wine, names after the lizards that live happily amongst the wines. My personal attention to viticulture and winemaking has crafted this ripe, deep red, full-bodied wine. Traditional small batch open fermentation and gentle pressing were used to capture the powerful blackcurrant, blueberry and dark chocolate flavours that have been enhanced by generous maturation in fine grained French and American oak. Enjoy now or cellar for up to 10 years.
