Sandalford Wines was first established in Western Australia in 1840. Since 1992 Sandlaford has been privately owned by the Prendiville family. This wine like all our premium range is sourced from the Sandalford Estate Margaret River vineyard first planted in 1970. These 35 year old dry-grown vines produce wines of great power and distinction. The 2004 Cabernet Sauvignon is no exception and follows on from the multi award winning previous vintages. This is a full-bodied wine brimming with dark berry fruit flavours and cedary oak notes from 18 months maturation in premium new and one year old French barriques. Cellaring potential of 15 years.
