TASTING NOTES
Intense blue/maroon with bright violet highlights in colour, the bouquet exhibits well focused fruit characteristics of blackberry and plum with a hint of fresh figs, complimented by attractive nutty vanilla oak. Great concentration of varietal fruit flowing over several levels, supported by refined well integrated American oak tannins. The complex, lingering mouth-feel is enhanced by volumes of fresh berry and small stone fruit flavours with hints of molasses, spice and cracked black pepper. The consistent quality and character of this wine will continue to develop for the next 4 - 6 years.
SERVE SUGGESTION
Steak with Butterbeans, Beef Bourguignonne, Ricotta, Tomato & Olive Stuffed Chicken or any tasty cheeses.
