TASTING NOTES
A vivid red/purple colour indicates an impressive concentration of flavours and aromas. The wine has lifted dark berry, violet and black cherry aromas on the nose and a refined palate weight and texture; and a savoury, long fine-grained finish. The wine has the structure to mature well in the cellar for five to seven years. This is a Heathcote shiraz with true structure and elegance - it is deliberately not "jammy" or over-ripe in style, nor over-extracted, nor over-oaked.
