Clyde Park ’Bannockburn’ Shiraz 2005
|
TASTING NOTES
Dark red/purple in colour, the wine displays an incredibly complex array of aromas including spicy notes of nutmeg, cloves and pepper. Sweet fruit is present in the form of raspberries and plums complemented with aromas of liquorice which meld seamlessly with both American and French oak charaters.
On the palate, this medium to full bodied wine exhibits the trademark cool climate charaters of pepper and spice in the style of the famous Rhone Valley varietals. intense plum and raspberry flavours are balance with firm yet velvety tannins and fresh natural acidity.
Intensity and elegance exemplify the traits of this outstanding Victorian Shiraz.
Drink Now or through to 2020.
