This is the first Torbreck wine sourced entirely from the Eden Valley. Produced from vines planted in 1960 the wine was aged for 18 months in French oak and bottled without fining or filtration.
TASTING NOTES
Brick red with an opaque black crimson colour and a black crimson hue. Violet top note, perfumed, followed by vanilla, spicy oak and blackberry. Voluptuous palate flavours with vanilla, blackberry, a hint of arrowmint and truffle. An elegant wine, reflective of the year, beautiful balance. Very long aftertaste of liquorice allsorts, spice and blackberry.
