TASTING NOTES
Intense brick red in colour, the nose shows traditional varietal characters of cassis, dried herbs, and tomato leaf. As the wine opens up in the glass spiced plums, stewed rhubarb, and prune notes develop, underlying earthy, dusty, cigar-box, and coffee characters are developing. Dusty spices, plums and black currents follow through to the palate. It has lush, upfront acidity, preparing the senses for rich intense berry fruit flavours. The wine is finely textured, showing warmth, elegance, good structure and longevity.
