Billecart Salmon is one of the most generous Champagnes, a harmonious and balanced wine, the result of immense personal care during the crafting process, and subsequent ageing under the traditional chalk cellars. Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Pinot Meunier grapes spanning three different vintages, from the best vineyard sites along the Marne, are fashioned into a timeless and refined Cuvée which has remained unchanged since 1945. Elegant aromas, and a full vinous palate, an elegant wine that's just right for every one of life's little occasions
Billecart Salmon is one of the last familial Houses of Champagne, all the wines are marked by the seal of excellence. The story begins with the wedding of Nicolas François Billecart and Elisabeth Salmon. The marriage lead to the founding of the distinguished Champagne House of Billecart-Salmon, established in 1818 at Mareuil-sur-Aÿ. Two centuries later, the seventh generation of the family still manages the Champagne company and oversees the crafting of each individual bottle, maintaining the legend of the Spirit of Champagne. The original love of the founders, lives on through the devoted viticulture, and passionate winecraft, a philosophy which has been cultivated around three principal values, finesse, balance and elegance.
