TASTING NOTES
The fruit for this wine was sourced from declassified fruit from the Warner Wineyard Shiraz which didn't quite make the cut. It is a 100% Shiraz as opposed to the Warner Vineyard wine which has some Roussane in its mix.
Typical Shiraz nose, without the influence of oak; pure spice, plum amd mulberry with a touch of dark chocolate. The aroma follows through to the palate blending into sweet, ripe flavours. However, the finish is long, rich with balanced tannins. This young fresh flavoured wine is in the style of northern Rhone, Crozes Hermiotage or Cornas. Produced to enhance the fruit and be enjoyed in the shorter term.
